Saving a Document to the Local Computer

  1. Open a new document.

  2. Head up to the File tab and choose Options on the bottom left corner.

  1. Choose Save As from the side menu.

  1. Uncheck the box that says AutoSave OneDrive and SharePoint Online files by default on Word.
